Mahamakut Buddhist University provided the communities and societies with Buddhist-based academic services as a mission to be implemented under its strategic plans. The university became an organization contributing to local development to upgrade people’s potentiality on desirable economic, social and environmental life.
As a result, local development was effectively led to development at social and national levels in accordance with the government’s policies. Srilanchang Campus under the university set the following policies on academic services:
- To support its academic services center to work on academic services projects with integration between learning and research.
- To intend to provide academic services to strengthen the community’s economic status, to increase the community’s earning and living, and to create a cooperation network of establishments as the national academic services resource.
- To bend upon its academic services to respond to the community’s demand and satisfaction. As a result, the community could utilize given knowledge from academic services to their real living life in order to reinforce the community’s strength, sustainability and identity.
- To stress on academic services to guide, protect or solve social problematic issues, internal and external, in the university.
