Parade of Mueang Loei District and Na Duang District was created based on Straw Models – King Giant Snake and Bat in the Cave. Apart from the province’s slogan “Phra Bang Sai Khaow as the signature of Loei Province, famous legend of the divine giant snake “Pu Lai Kham Ma of Bo Bid Mount,” pineapple as economic crops from Rai Muang, Na Duang bats from Pha Ya Cave, and sightseeing at Tai Loei Community”. The parade of Mueang Loei District and Na Duang District was designed as the sculpture of straw models, reflecting the outstanding identity, lifestyle and soul of Tai Loei people. The significant point of view of the parade was Phra Bang Sai Khaow seated on the coil of divine big snake, named Pu Lai Kham Ma of Bo Bid Mount. According to an ancient faith, Phra Bang Sai Khaow, A Standing Buddha Statue in the Attitude of Calming the Ocean (Phra Pang Harm Sa Mut), so-called Phra Bang Mueang Loei, was proclaimed as the provincial Buddha Statue for Loei Province. This Buddha image had been created for over 400 years and became an important restraint for people in Loei province for a long time.

Phra Bang Sai Khawo seated on the coil of King Big Snake Pu Lai Kham Ma was based upon the local legend: “Pu Lai Khamma, Divine King Big Snake, was believed as the master of Phu Bo Bid, governing the areas covering Nam Man, Kut Pong and Phu Bo Bid. He was said to observe the precepts and to make meditation. In addition, Phu Bo Bid is full of various caves and some traces of Big Snakes were notified by word-of-mouth. From an anonymous story, there was an underground channel or watercourse from Phu Bo Bid to Kut Pong. As a result, the province currently makes its decision to develop Kut Pong as the provincial tourism place. The next in the parade exhibited bats from Pha Ya Cave in Na Duang District. Pha Ya, an outstanding cave with bats, became a famous tourism place for millions of bats flying in the evening. Besides, the parade was also decorated like an orchard of juicy pineapples, economic crops from Rai Muang Village, Nam Man Sub-district, Mueang Loei District, Loei Province. This was also another point of view to inform the agricultural lifestyle of people in locality.
